We are committed to zero waste, through the reduction, reuse, recycling, and recovery of the resources we use every day. Our goal is a sustainable partnership between supplier, manufacturer, and customer. The chart below outlines a few of the categories that we as a company have been taking action with to improve our environment.

Wood pallets are repaired and reused. Unusable pallets are recycled/waste to energy.

PAPER: 2.9 tons, NEWSPAPER: 162 lbs. recycled in 2012.

Personnel are constantly looking for new ways to reduce.

* Recycling efforts impacted the environment by saving: 51 trees, 49 barrels of oil, 21,052.5 gallons of water, 180 lbs of air pollution prevented from being released, 9.9 cubic yards of landfill space, 12,331 kWh of electricity. - That's enough to power the average home for 422 days!

Plastic

EXCESS: 1.8 tons recycled in 2012.

Personnel are constantly looking for new ways to reduce.

* Recycling efforts impacted the environment by saving: 29.6 barrels of oil, 177.772 million BTU's of energy, 54.4 cubic yards of landfill space, 10,474 kWh of electricity. - That's enough to power the average home for 1,407 days!

Metals

All Types

EXCESS: 14.3 tons recycled in 2012.

Any item that can't be reused is recycled.

* Recycling efforts impacted the environment by saving: 19,968 pounds of coal, 41,077 kWh of electricity. - That's enough to power the average home for 1,407 days!

Packaging

Corrugated

EXCESS: 197.6 tons recycled in 2012.

Product packaging received from suppliers is reused when possible and otherwise recycled.

* Recycling efforts impacted the environment by saving: 217.4 barrels of oil, 1304.1105 million BTU's of energy, 77,061 kWh of electricity. - That's enough to power the average home for 2,640 days!

Adhesives

Production

No hazardous ingredients.

Converted to water based adhesives for wood assembly, thus reducing chemical impacts.
